  Amira is a bellydancer, teacher and choreographer based in the Netherlands.  She discovered bellydance at a young age and became committed to the art of bellydance many years later.  She has performed in major theatres and concert halls throughout Europe, and has delivered supporting acts for many world renowned Arab artists like Hakim, Ehab Tawfik, Hisham Abbas, Mustafa Amar, Baha’a Soltan and Assam Karika.  Amira has also appeared many times on Dutch and International television, and has performed in a videoclip for a major record label.  To promote dance in Europe, Amira founded Oriental Princesses which hosts international bellydance festivals.  Read on to learn more about Amira and her approach to teaching and performing bellydance.
